Hi,

We got a question in the web conference about any AS/400 "gotchas" with 8.5.2. I'm sorry we missed this question during the session, but I hope this will help:

The new name for the AS/400 / iSeries operating system is simply IBM i. The latest release available and supported with Domino 8.5.1 and 8.5.2 is IBM i 7.1. There are no specific "gotchas" with Domino 8.5.2; however, some things to be aware of include the following:

- A fix for SPR JSTN7XRQYX (Fixed an issue that would cause many kvoop processes) is in 8.5.2 for all platforms except IBM i. A separate hot fix is under development and will be released shortly.

- Full text indexes will be re-built with Domino 8.5.2.

- There is a new step to accept the software license when installing the server option (8.5.2 is option 12) using RSTLICPGM or LODRUN.

- Be aware of and plan for potential program conversion impacts when installing and upgrading Domino.

- The "classic" JVM is no longer supported; use only Java version 6 (J9, 32-bit).
